The range estimate for an electric bike can vary from 20 to 100 miles on a single charge. This is because there are so many factors that determine your own personal riding experience - some you may be able control, while others will always remain out of our grasp. Factors we can alter include battery size and efficiency as well as motor assistance level; however other aspects including weather conditions, temperature fluctuations or even terrain also play their part in determining how far one might go before needing another charge.
Battery Size
The bigger your battery, the more capacity you have to go further or go faster. Battery power is measured in watt hours (Wh), so a higher Wh count means an increased distance or speed can be achieved before needing another charge!
Pedal Assist
Your range is directly affected by the assist mode you pick. For example, eco mode provides less power and longer stretches than turbo modes do but also has lower top speeds as well!
